Do you have fitness equipment that will help you stay physically fit? I was in the habit of acquiring new equipment and using it for awhile until the newness wore off. Ultimately I stopped using it altogether.

However, I’m on the brink of being in the best shape of my life. Why? Accountability Partners.

I met John Zarbock a few years ago, and I was inspired by his passion. When I opened a health and wellness studio, I wanted to build a resource network of health and wellness professionals in the Saint Louis area. John quickly became a part of our group based on his expertise and passion. He also had the recipe for success in strength and conditioning.

I started working out with John and fell in love with the process. At John’s gym – BioFit – they have state-of-the-art machines that focus on the premise of biohacking, which is essentially a systems-thinking approach to our own biology that mixes experience-based learning with personalized metrics for tracking progress towards goals. As someone who helps people build businesses with a similar process, it just clicked for me.

Over the past year, I’ve made a proactive commitment to get healthy. My other accountability partner is Dr. Tom Gargiula at Windmill Wellness Center. Dr. G’s approach to health is all about getting and staying well. He keeps my body operating at optimum levels with weekly adjustments, he encourages daily nutrition via an incredible supplement called Regenr8, and I get the benefits of balanced energy through this sci-fi machine they call a BioCharger. I’m continually introduced to new and innovative ways to hack my physical body and turn myself into a Super Human.

At the Saint Louis Business Club, we’ve developed exclusive, members-only access to BioFit at less than 25% of the retail cost. Our members are also offered a discount at Windmill Wellness Center. We’ve used the principles of scheduling efficiency and cost sharing to maximize our partnerships and hack the network. Alongside our sister company, Studio 1500, we’re continually looking for more accountability partners to provide the most effective products and services that put us on the path to building more Super Humans.
